2021 Hyundai Kona launched in Malaysia, Priced from RM 146,888

Hyundai Malaysia has launched the 2021 Hyundai Kona today. 2 variants are available, namely the Hyundai Kona 1.6 Turbo and the Hyundai Kona N Line.

Both variants are fully-imported from Korea (CBU) and price starts at RM 146,888 for the Hyundai Kona 1.6 Turbo and RM 156,888 for the Kona N Line.

Powering the Hyundai Kona (both variants) is a 1.6-litre turbo engine (SmartStream G1.6 T-GDi) capable of 198 PS @6,000 rpm and 265 Nm @ 1,600 – 4,500 rpm. All power is transferred to the front wheels via a 7-speed DCT.

RM10k more expensive, the Hyundai Kona N Line has:

 

  1. N Line-specific bumpers
  2. A dedicated N Line interior (Red stitching, metal pedals, and N emblems on the steering wheel, gear knob and seats)
  3. Ventilated and heated seat function (first row)
  4. Twin tailpipe exits
  5. 18-inch variant-specific alloy wheels
  6. Special colours: Surfy Blue, Dive in Jeju, Ignite Flame, Pulse Red, and Misty Jungle

Both the 1.6 Turbo and N Line get the following standard features:
