Porsche sold 279,449 vehicles in 2025, 34.4% were electrified models
Porsche AG delivered a total of 279,449 vehicles globally in 2025, a 10% decline from the previous year, which was 310,718. Porsche AG Member of the Executive Board for Sales and Marketing, Matthias Becker, said, “After several record years, our deliveries in 2025 were below the previous year’s level. This development is in line with our expectations and is due to supply gaps for the 718 and Macan combustion-engined models, the continuing weaker demand for exclusive products in China, and our value-oriented supply management.”
In 2025, 34.4% of Porsche vehicles delivered are electrified (22.2% fully electric and 12.2% plug-in hybrid), a 7.4% increase from last year, which puts Porsche at the upper end range of 20% to 22 % global share.
North America remains the largest sales region for Porsche, with 82,229 vehicles delivered, as it was the year prior. The table below shows the vehicle delivery sales region data from January to December, comparing 2025 to the year prior.
| Porsche AG Deliveries | January – December | ||
| 2024 | 2025 | Difference | |
| Worldwide | 310,718 | 279,449 | -10% |
| Germany | 35,858 | 29,968 | -16% |
| North America | 86,541 | 86,229 | 0% |
| China | 56,887 | 41,938 | -26% |
| Europe (excluding Germany) | 75,899 | 66,340 | -13% |
| Overseas and Emerging Markets | 55,533 | 54,974 | -1% |
The key reason as to why the European countries, including Germany, saw a decline in the Porsche Macan delivered was due to EU cybersecurity regulations, while the Porsche 718 suffers from production line phasing out. Challenging market and intense competition, particularly for the fully electric models, causes the 26% decrease in vehicles delivered in China.
The Porsche Macan achieves the title of best-selling model with 84,328 units delivered, with 44,367 units being fully electric. The combustion-engine Porsche Macan continues to be offered outside the European market, achieving 38,328 units delivered. The Porsche 718 Cayman and 718 Boxster decrease in delivery was due to the model line-up phase out, with production ending in October 2025. The table below shows the Porsche models’ sales figures in 2025.
Models | 2025 | Difference |
Macan | 84,328 | +2% |
Panamera | 27,701 | -6% |
911 | 51,583 | +1% |
718 Cayman/Boxster | 18,612 | -21% |
Taycan | 16,339 | -22% |
Cayenne | 80,886 | -21% |
“In 2026, we have a clear focus; we want to manage demand and supply according to our ‘value over volume’ strategy. At the same time, we are planning our volumes for 2026 realistically, considering the production phase-out of the combustion-engined 718 and Macan models.” Mattias Becker added.
