Currently with a special RM4,000 rebate for the first 3,000 customers, the prices are temporarily RM105,800 and RM119,800 temporarily.

As mentioned above, the Proton e.MAS 7 is now available in two variants—Prime and Premium—distinguished by their battery capacities. The Prime comes with a 49.52 kWh battery, offering a WLTP-rated range of 345 km, while the Premium boasts a larger 60.22 kWh battery, pushing the range to an impressive 410 km. Both variants utilize the Aegis Short Blade battery technology from Geely, which is designed for maximum energy density and enhanced safety.
Charging capabilities are equally advanced, with DC fast charging allowing for a 30-80% charge in just 20 minutes (up to 80 kW for Prime and 100 kW for Premium). For AC charging, both variants support an 11-kW maximum rate, requiring approximately 4.9 hours for the Prime and 6.1 hours for the Premium to reach the same level.
Under the hood, both variants share the same 12-in-1 electric drive system, delivering 218 PS and 320 Nm of torque to the front wheels. This setup enables a 0-100 km/h sprint in a brisk 6.9 seconds, with a top speed electronically capped at 175 km/h.
With dimensions akin to a C-segment SUV, the e.MAS 7 measures 4,615 mm in length, 1,901 mm in width, and 1,670 mm in height, sitting on a wheelbase of 2,750 mm—50 mm longer than the Honda CR-V. This ensures generous cabin space and practicality, with a rear boot capacity of 461 liters, expandable to 1,877 litres when the rear seats are folded down.
Being finally unveiled from its camouflaged form, the e.MAS 7’s design has marked a major revolution for Proton. Exterior highlights include:

- Concealed door handles
- 18-inch wheels (with Giti tyres)
The Premium variant adds on:

- Ventilated front seats
- 4-way powered passenger seat
- Wireless charging
- Ambient lighting with 256 color options

With the e.MAS 7, Proton has taken significant strides to craft an EV tailored to the needs and preferences of Malaysian buyers. Beyond the technology borrowed from the Geely Galaxy E5, Proton has conducted extensive local testing and made tuning adjustments to ensure optimal ride and handling for Malaysian roads.
At a starting price of RM120,000, the e.MAS 7 undercuts many of its competitors, offering an impressive blend of range, performance, and premium features. Whether driven by national pride, sustainability goals, or sheer practicality, the e.MAS 7 presents a compelling option for those considering the switch to electric.
