Pro-Net and TVETMARA celebrate skilled EV technicians with inaugural Aftersales Excellence Awards
Proton New Energy Technology Sdn Bhd (Pro-Net) and TVETMARA have honoured the top Proton e.MAS technicians and service advisors at the inaugural e.MAS Electrified Excellence Aftersales Awards 2026. The awards followed a two-day competition held on 14 and 15 October at Proton e.MAS MBf EV Auto in USJ, Selangor. The award ceremony took place on 15 October at DoubleTree by Hilton Shah Alam i-City.
Participants from 49 authorised Proton e.MAS dealerships nationwide took part in the competition, with only 20 finalists — comprising 10 technicians and 10 service advisors — advancing through two online preliminary rounds. Organised in collaboration with TVETMARA Masjid Tanah, the competition featured theoretical and practical assessments to identify top talent, evaluate technical and customer service skills, and enhance aftersales standards across the Proton e.MAS network.
The competition will help Pro-Net identify training gaps, improve certification programmes and standardise aftersales service nationwide. With Proton e.MAS surpassing 40,000 vehicle deliveries in just 20 months, developing skilled aftersales professionals is becoming increasingly important to support its expanding customer base.
Following two online preliminary rounds, the 20 finalists advanced to practical assessments based on real-world dealership scenarios. Technicians were evaluated on pre-delivery inspections, electronic diagnostics and high-voltage fault troubleshooting, while service advisors were assessed on customer consultation, vehicle reception and delivery, and complaint handling.
The competition recognised the top five performers in each category, alongside four special award recipients. Cash prizes ranged from RM1,000 to RM2,500. The table below lists the winners of the Proton e.MAS Electrified Excellence Aftersales Awards 2026.

Pro-Net Chief Executive Officer Zhang Qiang said, “This competition is an opportunity to recognise our people and test how well their skills translate into day-to-day service situations. Just as importantly, what we learn from the assessments helps us improve training across the network. Excellence must be something customers experience consistently, not only something we celebrate on stage.”
The competition supports Pro-Net’s ongoing efforts to develop EV talent, following the training of 37 Level 2-certified technicians from 25 dealerships across seven technical modules in August 2026. Further Level 3 and Level 4 certification programmes are also in development to enhance technical expertise across the network.
Pro-Net currently operates 60 Proton e.MAS dealerships nationwide, including 46 authorised service centres and 10 Body & Paint facilities. By the end of 2026, it plans to expand its network to 70 dealerships, 57 authorised service centres and 14 Body & Paint facilities.
According to Pro-Net’s internal data, more than 32,000 Proton e.MAS vehicles have been delivered year-to-date in 2026, including more than 630 units exported to Nepal, Trinidad and Tobago, Mauritius and Singapore.
The awards ceremony also recognised strategic partners TVETMARA Masjid Tanah and MBf EV Auto Sdn Bhd, with support from SATA, Shell and Goodyear.
