CKD MINI Countryman S ALL4 launched in Malaysia - RM270k, 207 PS, 300 Nm
The latest addition to MINI Malaysia’s locally assembled (CKD) lineup is the petrol-powered MINI Countryman S ALL4, priced at RM270,000. This estimated price includes sales and service tax (SST) but excludes on-the-road costs, optional features, and insurance. The price also includes the extended 4 year warranty and service package over the car’s standard 2 year warranty. For those seeking a cheaper option the MINI Countryman S ALL4 could be had for just RM259,000 without the extended warranty package.
Under the hood, the MINI Countryman S ALL4 is powered by an enhanced 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine delivering 204 hp and 300 Nm of torque. Paired with the ALL4 all-wheel drive system, this robust crossover accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.4 seconds and achieves a top speed of 228 km/h. MINI claims that the next-generation ALL4 system continuously monitors road conditions, ensuring optimal torque distribution for excellent grip, stability, and efficiency.
In terms of design, the MINI Countryman S ALL4 showcases bold yet sophisticated proportions. It features an upright profile with a slightly widened track, large 20-inch Windmill Spoke two-tone wheels, and an octagonal grille flanked by LED headlights with three adjustable light signatures. The longer, taller body also allows for increased interior space, making it more practical for families or outdoor adventures.
The cabin emphasizes comfort and sustainability, with materials such as two-tone recycled polyester fabric. Highlights include a minimalist dashboard with a 240-mm round OLED display, John Cooper Works sport seats with memory and massage functions, and rear seats that can be individually adjusted for optimal legroom or cargo space. The MINI Countryman S ALL4 offers 505 liters of boot capacity and it is expandable to 1,530 litres with rear bench laid flat.
On the tech front, the MINI Operating System 9 powers a suite of features, including the MINI Intelligent Personal Assistant and MINI Digital Key Plus, which allows your smartphone to function as a key. A 12-speaker Harman Kardon surround sound system, advanced navigation, and a host of driving assistance features such as:
