Zeekr 009 Executive variant launched in Malaysia, RM310k, FWD, 604 km WLTP range

Zeekr has launched the Executive variant of its all-electric 009 MPV in Malaysia, with bookings now open at an introductory price of RM310,000 for the first 500 customers. The vehicle was unveiled at the Malaysia Autoshow on 8 May.

The Executive joins the existing Luxury (RM349,800) and Ultra Luxury (RM359,800) variants, expanding the 009 line-up with a more accessible entry point. At up to RM49,800 less than the Ultra Luxury, the Executive offers a more budget-friendly option, though it comes with some key differences.

Unlike the dual-motor all-wheel drive setup found in the Luxury and Ultra Luxury variants, the Executive is front-wheel drive with a single motor producing 250 kW and 373 Nm, translating to 340 PS. As a result, its 0–100 km/h time is 7.9 seconds, notably slower than the AWD variants’ 4.5 seconds. However, the top speed remains unchanged at 210 km/h, and the Executive delivers a WLTP-rated range of 604 km.

Built for comfort and efficiency over outright performance, the Executive features dual-chamber air suspension, CCD electromagnetic damping, and Magic Carpet Control for improved ride quality.

Interior equipment includes NAPPA leather seats with massage function and Eames lounge chair mode, a built-in 8.6-litre fridge, panoramic sunroof, and sunshades. Buyers can choose from three cabin colour themes: Stone Black, Stone Grey, and Polar White.

The infotainment system is powered by a dual Qualcomm 8295 platform, paired with a 17-inch 3K OLED roof screen and 30 Yamaha speakers. It supports streaming platforms such as Disney+ and YouTube, and includes features for remote meetings.

Safety features include what Zeekr calls a 720-degree protection system, comprising a Double A-Pillar structure, die-cast aluminium rear section, and a multi-layer battery protection design.

The Zeekr 009 Executive is available in Phantom Black and Crystal White, and can be booked at Zeekr Space Petaling Jaya, Zeekr Space IOI Mall Puchong, and the Zeekr Pop-Up Store at Sunway Pinnacle.

Each unit comes with a 5-year/150,000 km vehicle warranty, an 8-year/160,000 km battery warranty, and 2 years of complimentary connected services, including 6GB of monthly data for the Zeekr app, OTA updates, and navigation.
