Est. RM2.1 million, Mercedes-AMG GT 63 PRO 4MATIC+ unveiled in Malaysia – 612 PS, 850 Nm, track-ready

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has unveiled the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 PRO 4MATIC+ in Malaysia, a higher-performance variant of the ‘basic’ Mercedes-AMG GT 63. The estimated price is RM 2,088,888. On top of that, customers can also opt for the Motorsport Collectors Edition of the new model, which celebrates Mercedes-AMG’s motorsport heritage with distinctive design elements inspired by the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team’s racing livery. It is priced at RM 2,588,888.

So, what upgrades have been added to the Pro version? For starters, the engine’s performance has been improved, with its drivability optimised for the racetrack. The Mercedes-AMG GT 63 PRO 4MATIC+ is powered by an AMG 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine, producing 612 PS and 850 Nm of torque. This represents an increase of 27 PS and 50 Nm over the standard version. Power is then transmitted through the AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 9G transmission, driving all four wheels via the 4MATIC+ AWD system. The 0 to 200 km/h sprint takes 10.9 seconds, on the way to a top speed of 317 km/h.

Further improvements include an extensively expanded cooling package. The Mercedes-AMG GT 63 PRO 4MATIC+ now features two additional radiators in the front wheel arches, improving drivetrain cooling and overall racetrack performance. The differentials and transfer case also receive active cooling via electrically operated water pumps, while revised underbody air guides and brake cover plates improve airflow to the brakes, helping maintain durability and prevent overheating.

The improved aerodynamic package adds new air deflectors, an AIRPANEL active air control system, a fixed rear wing, and underbody aero elements inspired by the Mercedes-AMG ONE. These changes reduce front aerodynamic lift by more than 30 kg while increasing rear-axle downforce by around 15 kg. In terms of braking, it features AMG ceramic high-performance brakes with six-piston fixed callipers at the front, one-piston floating callipers at the rear, and 420 mm front discs.

Apart from that, the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 PRO 4MATIC+ Coupé gets 21-inch forged wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport S 5 tyres, painted brake callipers, carbon-fibre aerodynamic elements, a fixed rear wing, and the AMG Night Package II. Inside, it features AMG Performance seats and a Performance steering wheel, carbon-fibre trim, and yellow seat belts.

The cabin also includes a 12.3-inch driver display, an 11.9-inch central MBUX screen, a head-up display, and augmented-reality navigation. For track use, AMG TRACK PACE provides detailed lap and performance data, while features such as the Burmester sound system, THERMOTRONIC automatic climate control, and ENERGIZING AIR CONTROL Package add everyday comfort.

The Motorsport Collectors Edition, meanwhile, features an exterior finished in Obsidian Black with an exclusive Mercedes-Benz Star Pattern, along with numerous exterior accents in PETRONAS colours. Highlights include PETRONAS-accented aerodynamic elements, matching brake callipers, unique 21-inch AMG forged wheels with PETRONAS-coloured rim detailing, and a comprehensive combination of AMG Carbon Fibre, AMG Night Package, and AMG Aerodynamics Package components.

The motorsport theme continues throughout the cabin. AMG Performance seats, AMG carbon-fibre trim, PETRONAS-contrasted topstitching, an edition-specific centre-console badge, and a specially configured AMG Performance steering wheel create a distinctive atmosphere reserved exclusively for this limited-production model, of which only 200 units will be produced globally.
