From RM95k, 2026 Honda WR-V updated: 10-inch screen, 360º camera, still with LaneWatch
Honda Malaysia has launched the updated 2026 Honda WR-V, now offered in just three variants, one fewer than the four previously. The S variant has been discontinued, which means the E variant becomes the new base specification. All three variants received a decrease in price, listed in the table below.
Honda WR-V Variants | 2023 Price | 2026 Price |
E | RM 95,000 | RM 94,000 |
V | RM 99,900 | RM 98,900 |
RS | RM 107,900 | RM 104,900 |
All three Honda WR-V variants are still powered by the same 1.5-litre NA 4-cylinder DOHC i-VTEC engine, producing 121 PS and 145 Nm of torque, driving the front wheels via a CVT. Top speed is 160 km/h, while 0 to 100 km/h acceleration takes between 11 to 11.2 seconds, depending on the variant.
What’s new on the outside? All variants receive the Blazing Red Pearl colour without the black roof, as it replaces the previous Ignite Red Metallic. The RS variant gets an additional two-tone paint scheme that pairs Blazing Red Pearl with a black roof and an all-black front grille, replacing the chequered chrome design. Furthermore, the Crystal Black Pearl colour palette has been dropped. As a bonus for the E variant, it now gains 17-inch alloy wheels, up from the previous 16-inch, with all variants receiving the 17-inch wheels, now in black.
Inside is where most of the updates have been done. Starting with the RS variant, it gains red ambient lighting, a wireless charger pad, and a 360-degree camera. For the V and RS, the seats are upholstered in combination leather, with the V variant getting blue stitching while the RS gets red stitching. All three variants feature new Dark Steel accents on the dashboard.
Other interior updates include a 10-inch infotainment touchscreen display with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay as standard across all variants. The previous screen was 7 inches.
In terms of safety, the Honda WR-V continues to feature the Honda SENSING driver-assist technology as standard across all variants, offering safety features such as the following.
- Forward Collision Warning (FCW)
- Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS)
- Lane Keep Assist System (LKAS)
- Lane Departure Warning (LDW)
- Road Departure Mitigation (RDM)
- Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)
- Honda LaneWatch
- Auto High Beam
- Lead Car Departure Notification
- 4 SRS Airbags (6 for RS variant)
The 2026 Honda WR-V comes with 5 year / unlimited-mileage warranty and free labour service for up to five times within 100,000 km or five years.
