Dual-tone Honda CR-V launched – 300 units only, for E & V variants

In celebration of its 25th anniversary, Honda Malaysia has announced a limited run of a dual-tone Honda CR-V, along with special promotions and offers for its other models too. Only available in 300 units, this special dual-tone edition is only applicable for the E & V variants, and only for the Ignite Red Metallic and Platinum White exterior colours.

Prices remain the same even with the dual-tone edition, so the E variant still costs RM169,900 and the E variant still costs RM181,900. Equipment offerings remain the same too.

If you’re unfamiliar with the Honda CR-V, it is now in its 6th generation and is now for the first time offered in both petrol and hybrid variants. This special editiona, however, only applied to the petrol variants. These variants are powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine that puts out 193 PS and 243 N. Power is sent to the front wheels only via a CVT.

Honda has achieved many firsts with the CR-V over its 25-year journey in Malaysia. In 2003, the CR-V became the first model to be locally assembled at the Melaka plant. Since then, close to 149,000 units have been sold nationwide, reinforcing its undisputed position in the market and its appeal among Malaysians seeking a reliable and versatile SUV.
