2025 Hyundai Staria launched in Malaysia – 10-seater from RM 180k, CKD

Hyundai Motor Malaysia has launched the updated 2025 Hyundai Staria MPV. Fully imported (CBU) for now, it’s set for local assembly (CKD) later this year.

Pricing and Variants

  • Staria 2.2 CRDi Style 10‑seater – RM179,888
  • Staria 2.2 CRDi Prime 10‑seater – RM196,888
  • Staria 2.2 CRDi Prestige 10‑seater – RM209,888
  • Staria 2.2 CRDi Prestige 7‑seater – RM267,888

Changes are subtle: new flat aluminium badges, Ioniq 6-style H-logo key, auto wipers, USB-C ports (plus one USB-A), and quicker power-sliding doors. LED headlights, LED DRLs, and remote engine start carry over across the line-up. A carried-over 2.2L turbodiesel delivers 177 PS and 431 Nm to the front wheels via an 8-speed auto.

Spec Highlights

  • Style: 4.2-inch cluster, auto air-con, six speakers, reverse camera. LED headlights and 17-inch alloys are standard.
Prime adds powered sliding doors, 10.25-inch digital cluster, 360-degree camera.
  • Prestige 10‑seater upgrades to 18-inch wheels, powered driver seat, dimming mirror, Qi wireless charging, hands‑free tailgate.
  • Prestige 7‑seater gets full-width unibrow DRLs, dual sunroofs, ambient lighting, Bose 12-speaker audio, Nappa leather captain seats with ottomans and heating/ventilation.

Safety

All variants come with six airbags, ESC, and door‑opening warning. Prime and Prestige 10‑seater add dual blind‑spot cameras. Only both Prestige trims include SmartSense features like AEB, adaptive cruise with stop-go, lane centring, reverse‑AEB, and blind spot monitoring. The 7‑seater also gets driver attention warning and rear occupant alert.

The 2025 Hyundai Staria includes an 8‑year/160,000 km warranty, a 1,000 km check, plus three free labour service visits.
