Perodua and Bank Rakyat launch Credit Card-i – special rewards for automotive-related expenses

Perodua and Bank Rakyat have jointly launched the Perodua-Bank Rakyat Credit Card-i, which offers exclusive benefits for automotive-related spending. The Perodua-Bank Rakyat Credit Card-i is designed to offer rewards to Perodua owners when they use the card for automotive-related spending. The rewards can be converted and redeemed through the Perodua P-Circle mobile application.

Among the benefits offered by the Credit Card-i are five times the reward points on expenses related to fuel, EV charging, vehicle maintenance, and takaful protection services. Additionally, cardholders are entitled to complimentary takaful coverage for total outstanding balances of up to RM300,000, up to the age of 70, as well as RM1,000 in Khairat Kematian (Bereavement Benefit). On top of that, cardholders also enjoy 0% overseas transaction fees and no annual fee.

Perodua President and Chief Executive Officer, Dato’ Sri Zainal Abidin Ahmad, said, “This launch is a significant milestone for us as it marks the first time we have partnered with a banking institution to introduce a Credit Card-i. We will also be running a special campaign to encourage our customers to apply for the Credit Card-i through exclusive Perodua Package offers.”

The Perodua-Bank Rakyat Credit Card-i comes in two design choices, inspired by the Perodua QV-E and TIRA, a character from the animated film featured in the Perodua P-Circle mobile app. Members of the public can visit their nearest Perodua sales and service outlets or Bank Rakyat branches to find out more about the benefits and features of the Perodua-Bank Rakyat Credit Card-i.
