Honda e:N1 receives nearly 200 orders ahead of mid-June deliveries in Malaysia

Honda Malaysia has announced a strong initial response to its first fully electric vehicle (EV), the Honda e:N1, with nearly 200 bookings secured since order books opened last month. The company has confirmed that “several hundred units” of the e:N1 will be brought into the country within this year, with customer deliveries set to begin in mid-June.

Positioned as a limited-sales model, the Honda e:N1 is based on the popular HR-V but differs significantly as it is offered exclusively as a battery electric vehicle (BEV). Unlike its petrol-powered sibling, the e:N1 will only be available through a select network of eight authorised Honda dealerships, all situated along the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia. The entire e:N1 purchase process is integrated into Honda Malaysia’s online platform which includes the new car booking portal and the HondaTouch application

These eight dealerships have been specially appointed and equipped to handle the unique requirements of electric vehicles, including the necessary diagnostic tools and after-sales service capabilities. The selected outlets are:

Accord Auto, Ampang, Selangor

HZN Cars, Glenmarie, Selangor

Tiong Nam Motor, Setia Alam, Selangor

Peringgit Sri Motor, Kuala Lumpur

Ban Lee Heng Motor, Seremban, Negeri Sembilan

Ban Hoe Seng (Auto), Bandar Baru Sri Klebang, Ipoh, Perak

Vivahill Auto, Bayan Lepas, Pulau Pinang

Kah Motor, Tebrau, Johor

This targeted approach allows Honda Malaysia to ensure a high standard of customer experience and technical support as it makes its entry into the electric mobility segment. The Honda e:N1 marks the beginning of the brand’s EV journey in Malaysia, combining familiar styling with a fully electric powertrain—signifying a new chapter for the Japanese carmaker as it aligns with global sustainability goals.
