Denza D9 sells 800 units in Malaysia just days after launch
Denza has made an impressive entrance into the Malaysian market, with 800 units of the D9 sold since its official launch on February 20. The luxurious electric MPV has quickly found buyers, reinforcing its appeal in a segment dominated by premium people movers like the Toyota Alphard/Vellfire, Zeekr 009, Maxus MIFA 9, and the upcoming GAC M8 and Wey 80.
To reward its first 800 customers, Denza has bundled a host of exclusive freebies, including:
• A 22 kW wallbox for home charging
• Free servicing for six years or 120,000 km
• An exclusive Denza neck and waist pillow
• A Denza-branded luggage set
With this milestone reached, these promotions may now be over—unless Denza decides to extend them, following in the footsteps of Proton and Nissan, which have previously prolonged similar offers.

The Denza D9 is available in two variants in Malaysia:
1. D9 Advanced – RM259,000
• Single-motor, Front-Wheel Drive (FWD)
• 520 km WLTP range
• One-motor powertrain
2. D9 Premium – RM309,000
• Dual-motor, All-Wheel Drive (AWD)
• 480 km WLTP range
• More power and traction
Both variants come with a 103.6 kWh Blade LFP battery, ensuring long-range capabilities and durability.
With its combination of premium features, competitive pricing, and strong range, the Denza D9 is set to shake up Malaysia’s luxury MPV segment. As demand for premium EVs continues to grow, it will be interesting to see how Denza positions itself against established names like Toyota and newer electric competitors like Zeekr.
