2025 Proton X50 facelift open for booking – Launching this month

Bookings for the 2025 Proton X50 facelift are now officially open. Proton marked the occasion at a public event in Setia City Mall, featuring live performances and celebrity meet-and-greets. This follows the full unveiling of the SUV’s specifications earlier this week.

All variants now feature a new 1.5L four-cylinder turbocharged engine (code: BHE15-EFZ), replacing the previous three-cylinder units. Output is rated at 181 PS and 290 Nm of torque, paired to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission driving the front wheels.
