The 2021 Suzuki Jimny has been launched in Malaysia, under new distributor, Naza Eastern Motors Sdn Bhd.

At the 2021 CENEX Low Carbon Vehicle (LCV) exhibition, Gordon Murray Design (GMD) is previewing the GMD iSTream eQuadricycle platform. GMD’s iSTream process is a revolution in high-volume automotive manufacturing.

Lotus had unveiled its lightweight EV platform in three layouts at the Low Carbon Vehicle event staged by Cenex. The EV platform is developed through the Project LEVA (Lightweight Electric Vehicle Architecture) that was announced by Lotus in October last year.

Porsche and Siemens Energy have joined forces (with a number of international companies) to build an industrial plant for the production of an almost carbon-neutral fuel (eFuel) in Punta Arenas, Chile. CO2 and green hydrogen are combined to produce synthetic methanol, which is then converted to the eFuel. Prior to that, electrolysers split water into oxygen and green hydrogen using wind power, making the process virtually carbon neutral.
