Proton e.MAS and Smart owners get RM0.63/kWh charging rate at selected high-rise condos
Pro-Net, a subsidiary of Proton Holdings Berhad, expands its charging ecosystem across 500 participating condominiums and high-rise residences, totalling over 1,500 charging points nationwide. Proton e.MAS and Smart owners can also enjoy an exclusive charging rate of RM 0.63 per kWh via the Proton e.MAS apps, available until December 31st, 2026.
As electric vehicle adoption continues to grow in Malaysia, Pro-Net is tackling one of the biggest challenges faced by urban motorists—convenient charging for those living in high-rise residences. To address this, the brand is introducing a more seamless and user-friendly charging solution as part of its integrated ecosystem.
Pro-Net Chief Executive Officer, Zhang Qiang said, “As more Malaysians transition to sustainable mobility, it is important that electric vehicle charging solutions cater to different living environments, such as those in condominiums or high-rise residences. With charging rates starting from RM0.63/kWh and expanded access nationwide, we are making EV ownership more accessible, practical, and cost-efficient for everyday users.”
Coverage areas include high-density residential areas, including the Klang Valley, Penang, Johor, as well as key locations across Sabah and Sarawak, and other major cities, according to Pro-Net. This makes EV ownership convenient, especially for customers who live in non-landed residences with no access to personal home wall chargers.
Both Proton e.MAS and Smart owners can locate, activate, and pay using the Proton e.MAS App, without relying on third-party apps, making the whole process more seamless. The solution allows greater flexibility for owners, reducing dependence on public charging infrastructure.
