2026 Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 Coupe Nightfall Edition launched, from RM519k

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has unveiled the Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 4MATIC Coupe Nightfall Edition, a special edition that adds darkened exterior detailing to make the already bold design more powerful. This marks the second Nightfall Edition after the debut of the Mercedes-Benz GLA Nightfall Edition. Locally assembled, the Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 Coupe Nightfall Edition is priced at RM 518,888, an additional RM 10,000 over the standard Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 4MATIC Coupe.

The Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 4MATIC Coupe Nightfall Edition comes with the AMG Night Package II kit. For context, the normal Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 4MATIC Coupe comes bundled with the AMG Night Package I kit. The AMG Night Package II features dark chrome detailing that extends across key exterior elements—including the slats of the radiator grille, emblems on the front fenders and rear, as well as the rear star—emphasizing exclusivity. An AMG fuel filler cap in silver chrome, finished with “AMG” lettering and black accents, further adds a subtle, exclusive signature.

The premium cabin is outfitted with AMG sport seats in ARTICO man-made leather, sleek carbon-fibre trim, and a Nappa leather AMG Performance steering wheel. This athletic atmosphere is completed by an MBUX infotainment system equipped with AMG-specific displays, all paired with a Burmester® 3D surround sound system for an immersive audio experience.

Another key highlight of the Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 4MATIC Coupe Nightfall Edition is the AMG Real Performance Sound, which delivers an immersive, emotional sound experience within the cabin. At the touch of a button or via the touchscreen, the driver can select sound characteristics ranging from sporty-subtle (BALANCED) to sporty-emotional (POWERFUL).

Under the bonnet sits a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine with a 48V mild-hybrid system. The engine alone produces 421 PS and 500 Nm of torque, while an additional 14 PS boost is available from the belt-driven starter generator (RSG) when needed. The power is sent to all four wheels through the AMG Speedshift MCT 9G nine-speed automatic transmission.

This allows acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds, on its way to an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h. Manoeuvrability is elevated with rear-axle steering capable of turning up to 2.5 degrees. Boasting an assertive road presence, it features a wide track, 21-inch AMG Y-spoke light-alloy wheels with silver brake callipers, and adaptive DIGITAL LIGHT headlamps that continuously optimize visibility based on driving conditions.
