BYD Sime Motors has launched the updated 2025 BYD Seal in Malaysia, offered in two variants with lower prices than before. The entry-level Dynamic is no longer available.

2025 BYD Seal Malaysia prices (nett, without insurance):

  • Seal Premium (Extended Range) – RM 171,800
  • Seal Performance (AWD) – RM 191,800

Both are RM 8,000 cheaper compared to the 2024 launch prices.

  • New 19-inch alloys
  • Larger frunk (53L vs 50L)
  • Red brake calipers (Performance only)
  • Powered sunshade, sunglasses holder, Bluetooth mobile key
  • Suspension: Premium now with FSD, Performance upgraded to DiSus-C adaptive damping

2025 BYD Seal Variants and Specs

Performance and range:

  • Premium (RWD): 313 PS, 360 Nm, 82.5 kWh battery, 570 km WLTP, 0–100 km/h in 5.9s
  • Performance (AWD): 530 PS, 670 Nm, 82.5 kWh battery, 520 km WLTP, 0–100 km/h in 3.8s

Max DC charging remains at 150 kW (30–80% in 32 minutes), AC charging at 7 kW (15.2 hours 0–100%). Vehicle-to-load is included.

Equipment highlights include: 15.6-inch rotatable touchscreen, 10.25-inch instrument display, 12-speaker Dynaudio audio, ventilated/heated powered seats, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, dual-zone climate control, two wireless chargers, four USB ports, head-up display.

Safety wise, the 2025 BYD Seal gets nine airbags, adaptive cruise control, AEB, lane keep assist, lane departure prevention, cross-traffic alert, blind spot monitoring, 360-degree camera.

Colour options include Cosmos Black, Aurora White, Atlantis Grey, and a new Shark Grey. Warranty coverage is six years/150,000 km (vehicle), eight years/160,000 km (battery) and eight years/150,000 km (drive unit).

The first 300 buyers get a launch package worth up to RM10,888, including a wall charger, service package and rebate.
