Zeekr 7X debuts at Malaysia Auto Show 2025 – fr RM182k – RM230k

Zeekr has officially previewed its all-electric 7X SUV at the Malaysia Auto Show 2025 this morning, marking the brand’s first public showcase in the country ahead of its planned launch in the third quarter of this year. This highly anticipated model enters a competitive segment, targeting premium EV SUVs like the Tesla Model Y and BYD Sealion 7.

In terms of size, the Zeekr 7X measures 4,825 mm in length, 1,930 mm in width, and 1,666 mm in height, with a generous wheelbase of 2,925 mm. These dimensions make it larger than the Tesla Model Y, yet slightly more compact than the BYD Sealion 7 — placing it firmly in the mid-to-large SUV class.

The 7X’s electric drivetrain sits on Zeekr’s advanced 800-volt PMA2+ platform, enabling ultra-fast charging speeds and robust energy efficiency. Whether equipped with the LFP or NMC battery, the vehicle is built to handle both performance and practicality.

Thanks to its high-voltage architecture, the Zeekr 7X also supports vehicle-to-load (V2L) power output, allowing it to act as a power source on the go:

  • DC Output: Up to 60 kW
  • AC Output: Up to 3.3 kW

This makes it capable of charging other EVs, powering outdoor appliances, or even serving as a backup power supply during emergencies.

Inside, the Zeekr 7X emphasizes comfort and technology, offering a high-end cabin experience:

  • 13.02-inch fully digital instrument cluster
  • 16-inch mini-LED infotainment touchscreen
  • 21-speaker premium sound system with headrest-integrated speakers
  • Dual Qi wireless charging pads
  • Nappa leather upholstery
  • Powered seats in both front and rear rows

The interior design mirrors the model’s premium aspirations, blending modern aesthetics with advanced features designed for both driver and passenger satisfaction.

The Zeekr 7X positions itself as a more premium alternative to the BYD Sealion 7, with a stronger focus on performance and features. In Malaysia, indicative pricing starts at RM182,000 for the RWD Standard, RM195,000 for the RWD Long Range, and RM230,000 for the AWD Performance—offered exclusively to the first 500 customers.

  • RWD Standard – RM182,000
  • RWD Long Range – RM195,000
  • AWD Performance – RM230,000

With its official preview now complete, the Zeekr 7X is set to make waves in Malaysia’s premium EV SUV segment. You can come see the Zeekr 7X in person at the Malaysia Auto Show 2025, happening at MAEPS Serdang from 9th to 15th May 2025, from 10am to 10pm daily.
