UMW Toyota Motor sold over 102,300 vehicles in 2024, down 5.4% from 2023
UMW Toyota Motor Sdn Bhd reports that it has sold over 102,300 units of vehicles in 2024. Compared to 2023 where UMW Toyota saw a yearly sales figure of 108,107 units, its yearly sales for 2024 is down by 5.4%. This however, has not stopped UMW Toyota from marking its third consecutive year of surpassing the 100,000 unit mark.
In December 2024 alone, the company sold 12,800 units of its vehicles. Key contributors to company’s strong year-end sales performance were unsurprisingly models like the Hilux, Vios, and Corolla Cross. Toyota also offers a diverse vehicle lineup with models in just about every segment there is in Malaysia.
The company also recorded strong aftersales performance in 2024, with 1.42 million returning customers for aftersales services.
