Shell Recharge App launched in Malaysia – phases out function via ParkEasy app

If you’ve been using the EV chargers provided Shell, the experience is about to get a lot more seamless wkith the newly launched Shell Recharge App. Yes, by the end of November 2025, the function to activate the Shell charger via the ParkEasy app will be phased out.

Available on the Apple App Store as well as the Google Play Store, the Shell Recharge is new to Malaysia, but not exactly new to other regions. That aside, it does make the charging experience more seamless and also brings with it a host of a few features such as:

  • Debit or Credit card link
  • Reserve & Recharge
  • Cross-border roaming (Malaysia -Singapore)
  • Live Charging updates
  • In-app site charging site locator

To celebrate the milestone, Shell is offering a limited-time promotion. On 11 November 2025, all Shell Recharge App users will enjoy a special rate of RM1.11 per kWh when charging at all Shell Recharge HPC sites across Malaysia (Terms and conditions apply).
