*largest manufacturer-branded charging network
Porsche Asia Pacific and SP Group have announced a partnership to further expand the Porsche Destination Charging network in Singapore.
Open to all electrified vehicles (PHEV and BEV) of all brands, Porsche owners get extra benefits and get to charge for free.
The three new Destination Charging locations at Gardens by the Bay, South Beach and Sembawang Country Club are scheduled to go live by January 2022, adding 15 new charging points to the existing network.
Porsche and SP have also joined hands with City Developments Limited (CDL) to expand EV charging infrastructure at four of its properties, e.g. the City Square Mall and Quayside Isle. They will add another 15 charging points.
Combined with existing Destination Charging sites at Marina Bay Sands and Sentosa Golf Club, the Porsche Destination Charging network will number a grand total of 11 locations and 51 charging stations islandwide by mid-2022, becoming the largest manufacturer-branded EV charging network in the country whilst continuously expanding to even more locations.
All upcoming Porsche Destination Charging points will be available on a central app, which allows EV drivers to seamlessly locate the nearest available charging point, start and track the charging process, and make payment.
SP operates currently over 450 charging points across more than 100 locations, including shopping malls, commercial buildings, business parks, industrial sites and residentials islandwide. Approximately one-third of SP’s nationwide charging network are high-speed DC chargers.
