Omoda | Jaecoo Malaysia opens new parts warehouse in Shah Alam

Omoda | Jaecoo Malaysia has expanded its aftersales operations with the opening of a new parts warehouse in Shah Alam. The move comes as the company continues to grow its customer base and dealership network across the country.

The new facility, operated by Chery Corporate Malaysia, is located in the Hicom Industrial Estate and has been fully operational since March 2025. It spans 88,000 square feet. That’s more than twice the size of the previous warehouse, and it is intended to support logistics and parts distribution for all brands under the company’s umbrella.

The warehouse currently holds approximately 10,000 parts for Omoda and Jaecoo models sold in Malaysia. It also includes stock for iCAUR models, with preparations underway ahead of the iCAUR 03’s expected launch in the third quarter of 2025.

According to Emily Lek, Vice President of Omoda | Jaecoo Malaysia, the new warehouse is central to maintaining aftersales service levels as the company’s footprint grows. She added that the facility’s location improves efficiency in supplying dealerships across Malaysia.

The company now operates 45 dealerships nationwide, providing both sales and service support. Meanwhile, iCAUR has appointed 11 dealers in preparation for its entry into the local market.

The Shah Alam warehouse is also expected to play a role in supporting future export operations within the ASEAN region.
