Geely sedan patent images emerge, possible Proton Preve replacement?

Patent images of a new sedan by Geely have emerged on the internet, thanks to Facebook user, Vanhoe Rage.
The patent images suggest a C-segment salon, something like the Geely Bin Rui. Interestingly, the front grille seems to feature the “infinite weave” design, the signature mark of current Proton cars.
If Proton were to adopt this car into its lineup, it would be an interesting alternative to the famous Honda Civic in Malaysia.
Featuring a rear wing, some degree of sportiness is to be expected from this future Geely model.
A large SUV from Proton (possible 7-seater) is expected to join the Proton line-up soon, most likely named the Proton X90.
Proton has said previously that they are committed to launching one model a year, so it is fair to expect a new sedan within the next few years. We could be wrong, but who knows. So far ” Semua Geely pun di Proton-kan”.

If Proton were to adopt this sedan car into its lineup, it would be an interesting alternative to the famous Honda Civic in Malaysia. The sloping roofline is very much like that of the Honda Civic FC.
