Images of the upcoming all-electric BMW iX1 have been teased on BMW’s official website, showing the BEV being tested at BMW Group’s winter testing center in Arjeplog, Sweden.
Currently in its final stages of development, the BMW iX1 will make its world debut in the very near future.

The BMW iX1 will feature BMW’s fifth-generation eDrive technology that uses the latest battery cell technology and intelligently controlled heat management to enable short charging times and a long range, even in extreme sub-zero temperatures.

Built on the same platform as the ICE BMW X1, the all-electric BMW iX1 features a dual-motor AWD system, whose power delivery is coordinated precisely to optimise traction and dynamic performance, and its extremely fast-acting near-actuator wheel slip limitation tech
The BMW iX1 will be BMW’s third SAV with an all-electric drivetrain after the BMW iX and BMW iX3.
