2026 Proton X70 MC3 launched, from RM 107k – 2 variants, new 4-cylinder 1.5L turbo engine

The new 2026 Proton X70 comes with only two variants on offer, X70 Executive and X70 Premium. The previous Standard and Premium X variants are no longer available. The X70 Executive is priced at RM 106,800 and the X70 Premium is priced at RM 119,800. Both prices are on-the-road without insurance. There is a special RM 7K launch rebate offered for the first 1,500 units to be registered by March 31st, 2026.

The biggest change for the Proton X70 is the engine. Gone is the 1.5 litre 3-cylinder turbocharged gasoline direct injection (TGDi), as it is replaced by the similar 1.5 litre 4-cylinder turbocharged direct injection (TGDi) from its B-segment SUV sibling, the new Proton X50.
