2026 Dongfeng 007 launched in Malaysia, from RM 170k – up to 650 km range, 0 – 100 km/h in 3.9 secs

Central Auto Distributors (CADB) has launched the new Dongfeng 007, priced from RM 169,888, and is available in two variants: the Dongfeng Premium and the Dongfeng Prime (Performance). The Dongfeng 007 is a fully electric C-segment fastback sedan, set to compete against the BYD Seal.

However, similar to the newly launched Dongfeng Vigo on this same day, the Dongfeng 007 missed out on tax incentives for fully imported CBU electric vehicles.

The key difference between the two variants of the Dongfeng 007 is the powertrain setup, which is the single-motor rear-wheel-drive and the dual-motor all-wheel-drive variant. Both variants have the same battery capacity of 73.48 kWh battery capacity. The table below shows the powertrain details of all three variants of the Dongfeng 007.

The Dongfeng 007 supports up to 200 kW of DC fast charging. Resulting in a 30% to 80% in just 11 minutes. However, it can only accept up to 6.6 kW of AC charging with a vehicle-to-load (V2L) function available.

Measuring at 4,880 mm long, 1,895 mm wide, and 1,476 mm tall, the Dongfeng 007 features a low nose, frameless windows, and flush pop-out door handles. At the front, the split headlights gave the front fascia a slim look, mirroring the full-width taillights at the rear.
