2025 GWM Haval H6 HEV gets new all-black interior, upgraded battery warranty
GWM Malaysia has rolled out a new interior option for the Haval H6 HEV. First launched locally in October 2024, the Haval H6 HEV now gets a full Phantom Black interior, sitting alongside the original dual-tone black-and-cream setup.
It’s not just a seat colour swap either. The door cards, dash, and centre console are now fully blacked out, while the rose gold accents from the dual-tone variant are replaced with more neutral silver trim. Gloss piano black inserts remain. It’s a clean, slightly sportier vibe, and you can pair it with any of the five existing exterior colours.
Also new is an upgraded HEV battery warranty: now 10 years or 1,000,000 km, up from the previous 8-year cap. And for the first time, most of the vehicle warranties are now transferable to second owners, though with reduced coverage for engine and hybrid system components (both capped at 7 years/200,000 km for subsequent owners). Existing H6 HEV owners get the new battery warranty too, retroactively.
No mechanical changes otherwise. Power still comes from a 1.5-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder engine paired with a 130 kW electric motor, pushing a total of 243 PS and 530 Nm. It runs GWM’s two-speed Dedicated Hybrid Transmission and does 0 to 100 km/h in a claimed 7.7 seconds. Fuel consumption is quoted at 5.8L/100km, with a theoretical range of up to 1,000 km per tank.
Pricing remains unchanged at RM 139,800 OTR (sans insurance). That includes the full ADAS suite, matrix LEDs, panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and the usual cabin tech. A promotional campaign offering RM6,600 in savings is also currently ongoing.
