Toyota Urban Cruiser EV launched in Malaysia, RM 198k – 426 km range, 174 PS, FWD
UMW Toyota Malaysia (UMWT) has launched the Toyota Urban Cruiser (alongside the Hilux BEV and the bZ4X), priced at RM 198,000. It is available in a single variant, arriving in Malaysia as a CBU unit from India, featuring a front-wheel-drive layout that produces 174 PS and offers a driving range of 426 km.
Dimension-wise, the 5-seater EV SUV measures 4,285 mm in length, 1,800 mm in width, and 1,635 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,700 mm. Ground clearance is rated at 180 mm. At the front, the Toyota Urban Cruiser features a hammerhead design with a blacked-out centre trim bridging the two headlights. From the side, it features black body cladding on both the front and rear, along with full-width combination taillights at the rear.

It uses a lithium iron phosphate battery with a capacity of 61 kWh, providing a driving range of 426 km.
