Stellantis opens regional parts hub in Malaysia – for Peugeot, Leapmotor, and more

Stellantis has established a new new regional parts hub in Malaysia, and it will be fully operational in Q1 2025. Located in a free trade zone in Malaysia, the new hub serves to cater to the growing demand of around 20 countries in the region, including Malaysia.

The new facility will cater for almost all the brands under the Stellantis umbrella such as Peugeot, Citroën, Alfa Romeo, Jeep, RAM, Leapmotor, and more. It is also part of a broader strategy to deepen localisation effort & bolster long-term presence in India & Asia Pacific region including Malaysia. Aftersales is also expected to be improves as the new facility should reduce downtime by ensuring efficient access and availability of parts and components.

Stellantis ASEAN Chief Operating Officer, Daniel Gonzalez said, “India and Asia Pacific region is the third growth engine for Stellantis, and the Regional Parts Hub is anticipated to become a key asset in our regional supply chain strategy.”

Strategically located in a Free Trade Zone in Malaysia, this regional warehouse will allow us to improve parts availability, reduce lead time and enhance the overall service efficiency. It will also enable us to respond quickly to the growing needs of our customers while ensuring they receive the highest level of aftersales support.”
