Spied: 2023 Honda CR-V spotted testing in Thailand
Not long after images of the 2023 Honda CR-V in China were leaked, the next-generation Honda CR-V has been spotted on the roads of Thailand covered with heavy camouflage.
The images of the camouflaged 2023 Honda CR-V have been shared by Mr. Sataporn Liangthanasarn on Facebook.
Just like the earlier leaked images, the rear end of the 2023 Honda CR-V borrows the design of the Volvo XC60 while its front end borrows the sleek look from the Mazda CX-5.
Sporting a “240 Turbo” emblem on the tailgate (in the earlier leaked images), some publications speculate the 2023 Honda CR-V to be equipped with a 1.5-L Turbo engine producing 182hp/240Nm.

It is also reported that the upcoming Honda CR-V will be larger than the current version, measuring 4,703 mm in length, 1,866 mm in width, and 1,680 mm in height, with a 2,701-mm wheelbase.
While the 2023 Honda CR-V may be launched in Thailand soon, it will take quite a while before a CKD version is assembled in the Melaka Honda plant. Upcoming new Honda models in Malaysia include the all-new Honda BR-V and Honda HR-V.
