Mitsubishi Airtrek EV debuts in China, priced around RM 138,000

The Mitsubishi Airtrek EV has made its global debut at the 2021 Guangzhou auto show, being the first all-electric SUV from the Japanese brand.

Prices in China range between CNY 210,000 (RM 138,342) to CNY 240,000 (RM158,208).

Despite carrying on the rather iconic Airtrek name from sporty, turbocharged family SUV, the all-new Mitsubishi Airtrek EV shares absolutely nothing in common with the previous Airtrek besides its name.

Like other Mitsubishi models, the dynamic shield is the EV’s defining feature on the front end.

As for technical specifications, the Mitsubihi Airtrek EV is equipped with a 70-kWh battery providing 520 km of range (CLTC).

The interior is open and spacious, featuring a horizontally-themed instrument panel that offers a broad field of vision and makes it easy to grasp the position of the car.

To create a high-class feel, soft padding is introduced for the parts that passengers touch, and stitches are used in every detail.
