The 2021 Volvo XC60 has been launched in Malaysia today, now with smarter features integrated.
Price of the Volvo XC60 start at RM 292,266 with the sales tax emption in place.

---|---|---|
Volvo XC60 B5 Momentum | RM 292,266 | RM 313,160 |
Volvo XC60 T8 Recharge Inscription Plus | RM 325,449 | RM 344,760 |

The B5 Momentum is a mild hybrid (249 PS/350 Nm) while the T8 Recharge Inscription Plus is a plug-in hybrid (407 PS/640 Nm).

The key highlight of the updated Volvo XC60 is the built-in Google function which allows you to control certain functions of the car and access the internet via voice command.

Other smart features include the SOS button and wireless phone charging.

On the outside, new additions include a new grille, a new “Silver Dawn” colour, and new 19-inch wheels.

Subtle differences can be seen the outside, differentiating the B5 Momentum from the T8 Recharge Inscription Plus.

On the inside, the Volvo XC60 T8 Recharge Inscription Plus gets a Bowers & Wilkins system while the Volvo XC60 B5 Momentum gets a Harman Kardon system.

Nothing has been compromised in the safety department, with both variants getting equal active and passive safety features like:
- City Safety – Collision Avoidance & Mitigation with Intersection
Support Pedestrian, Cyclist & Large Animal Detection - City Safety with Steering Support and Braking
- Front & Rear Collision Warning & Mitigation Support
- Driver Alert Control (DAC)
- Lane Keeping Aid (LKA)
- Run-Off Road Mitigation with Road Edge Detection
- Oncoming Lane Mitigation
- Blind Spot Information System (BLIS) with Steer Assist
- Cross Traffic Alert (CTA) with Auto Brake
- Seat Belt Detection with Graphical Indicator for All Seats
- Emergency Brake Assist (EBA)

While the updated Volvo XC60 is a great addition to the Recharge line-up in Malaysia, the real shift to pure-electric drive for Volvo Car Malaysia will happen with the upcoming all-electric Volvo XC40 P8.
