In case you missed it: iCaur 03 EV launched in Malaysia from RM 120k
In case you missed it, iCaur has officially launched the iCaur 03 in Malaysia. Previewed twice before and originally shown here as the Jaecoo J6, the iCaur 03 EV is now on sale in two variants priced below earlier estimates, RM 119,800 for the 2WD and RM 129,800 for the dual-motor iWD (OTR without insurance).
iCaur 03 Malaysia Specs
- 2WD: 184 PS, 220 Nm, 65.7 kWh LFP battery, 426 km NEDC range, 0–100 km/h in 10.5s, 150 km/h top speed
- iWD (AWD): 279 PS, 385 Nm (combined), 69.8 kWh LFP battery, 418 km NEDC range, 0–100 km/h in 6.5s, 150 km/h top speed
Both support 80 kW DC charging (30–80% in around 30 minutes) and 6.6 kW AC charging. Vehicle-to-load (V2L) up to 3.2 kW is standard.
At 4,406 mm long, 1,910 mm wide, 1,715 mm tall and with a 2,715 mm wheelbase, the 03 is about the size of a BYD Atto 3. Ground clearance figures translate to a 28-degree approach and 32-degree departure angle, with the iWD rated for 55% gradeability.
Exterior cues include an upright boxy profile, slim LED headlamps with vertical DRLs, flush pop-out door handles and a side-hinged tailgate. Colour options are Silver, Grey, White, Black and Aurora Green. A limited-run Black Phantom Edition (RM 20k extra) adds wheel arch extensions, matte black finish, roof rack and side ladder.
iCaur 03 Malaysia Features
Inside, the 03 features a 15.6-inch infotainment touchscreen powered by a Snapdragon 8155 chip, with climate and vehicle functions integrated. A wireless charger sits on the centre console alongside grab handles.
Standard kit for both variants includes:

- Dual-zone climate control with rear vents

- 50W wireless charging pad

Variant-specific: the 2WD gets 18-inch wheels and five drive modes, while the iWD steps up to 19-inch wheels, 10 drive modes and massaging front seats.
iCaur 03 Safety
As standard, the iCaur 03 is fitted with six airbags, while the Level 2 package includes AEB, forward/rear collision warning, lane departure warning/prevention, emergency lane keeping, adaptive cruise with traffic jam assist, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert and door opening warning.
Every 03 comes with a seven-year/150,000 km vehicle warranty, plus an eight-year/160,000 km battery and drive unit warranty (with one-to-one replacement if health drops below 70%)
The first 1,000 bookings made by September 17, 2025 get one year of unlimited JomCharge charging, a lifestyle pack worth RM 3,000, and a complimentary wallbox (RM 3,400). After that, wallboxes can be installed via iCaur partners for RM 1,388. The brand’s iCare insurance covers the car, wallbox and portable chargers, and includes unlimited towing.
