2025 XPeng G6 facelift launched in Malaysia – from RM 180k, up to 487 PS/660 Nm, 525 km range

Bermaz XPeng has officially launched the 2025 XPeng G6 facelift in Malaysia. Fully imported (CBU) from China, the refreshed electric SUV is offered in three variants:

  • G6 RWD Long Range Pro – RM 179,708
  • G6 AWD Performance – RM 190,708
  • G6 AWD Black Edition – RM 194,708

All prices are on-the-road without insurance.

The facelift brings changes under the skin. All variants now use an 80.8 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, replacing the outgoing mix of LFP and NMC packs. The new pack supports 451 kW DC fast charging, allowing a 10–80% top-up in just 12 minutes. AC charging is rated at 11 kW (5–100% in 9.2 hours). A vehicle-to-load (V2L) system up to 3.3 kW is standard.

2025 XPeng G6 facelift specs

  • RWD Long Range Pro: 296 PS, 440 Nm, 0 to 100 km/h in 6.7 seconds, top speed 202 km/h, 525 km WLTP range
  • AWD Performance / Black Edition: Dual motors (487 PS, 660 Nm), 0 to 100 km/h in 4.13 seconds, top speed 202 km/h, 510 km WLTP range

Suspension continues with front double wishbones and a rear five-link setup.

Externally, the facelift adds a ‘Starlight Wing’ LED light bar across the front with integrated indicators, a higher-positioned XPeng logo, body-coloured wheel arch trim, and a small ducktail spoiler at the rear. Dimensions remain the same aside from a slight increase in length to 4,758 mm (+5 mm). Boot space stays at 571 litres, expandable to 1,374 litres with the rear seats folded. The Black Edition adds gloss black 20-inch alloys, matching brake calipers, and a black XPeng logo.

The G6 is also marketed with what XPeng calls a “bulletproof-level” battery pack, protected by ballistic-grade armour and reinforced structure, capable of withstanding 1,000°C temperatures and 80 tonnes of side crush pressure. The company claims lifespan has been improved by 30%.

Inside, the dashboard gets a revised design for the air vents and cupholders, while the central infotainment has grown to 15.6 inches. Both RWD and AWD variants share the same equipment list, which includes:

  • Panoramic sunroof
  • 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster
  • 15.6-inch infotainment touchscreen with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, voice assistant and app store
  • Nappa leather upholstery, suede headliner, 256-colour ambient lighting
  • 16-speaker XOpera surround sound system + 2 driver’s seat speakers
  • 6-way powered front seats with heating, ventilation and massage
  • Dual-zone climate control with N95/pollen filter and rear vents
  • Dual 50W wireless charging pads
  • Telematics, NFC card key, UWB smart key, mobile phone key

The G6 comes with XPilot ADAS, which includes adaptive cruise control, lane centring, auto lane change, park assist, 360° camera with transparent chassis, vehicle summon, AEB, blind spot monitoring, traffic sign recognition, driver monitoring and more.

Five exterior colours are offered: Arctic White, Graphite Gray, Midnight Black, Silver Frost and Stellar Purple (new, replacing Fiery Orange). Interior options are dark or light grey.

Each G6 is backed by a 5-year/120,000 km vehicle warranty and 8-year/160,000 km battery warranty. Buyers also receive a 5-year/100,000 km free maintenance package. Optional home AC chargers are priced at RM 4,300 (7 kW) and RM 5,000 (11 kW) with installation included.
