From RM 116k, 2025 Honda HR-V facelift launched in Malaysia – 18″ wheels, wireless AA/CP as standard
Honda Malaysia has launched the 2025 Honda HR-V facelift. The line-up remains unchanged with four variants: 1.5L NA S, 1.5L Turbo E and V, and the 1.5L e:HEV RS hybrid.

Pricing (OTR without insurance):
- HR-V 1.5L S – RM 115,900
- HR-V 1.5L Turbo E – RM 130,900
- HR-V 1.5L Turbo V – RM 137,900
- HR-V 1.5L e:HEV RS – RM 143,900
Prices for the S and E variants are unchanged, while the V and RS cost RM 2k more than before.
No change to the powertrain configurations, the 2025 Honda HR-V facelift continues to offer three options:
- 1.5L NA DOHC i-VTEC – 121 PS, 145 Nm, CVT
- 1.5L VTEC Turbo – 181 PS, 240 Nm, CVT
- 1.5L e:HEV (Hybrid) – 131 PS, 253 Nm (motor), with a 105 PS Atkinson-cycle engine
Honda says the hybrid system has been retuned for better responsiveness and improved engine sound under load, but official output figures remain the same.
2025 Honda HR-V Facelift Exterior
Visual updates are minor. The facelift adds a wider front grille, reprofiled bumpers, new LED tail lights, and 18-inch wheels across the board (S and E previously had 17s). The RS now gets matrix LED headlights with active cornering lights and new two-tone alloy wheels.
2025 Honda HR-V Facelift Interior
The wraparound-style centre console has been redesigned into a symmetrical layout, freeing up an extra storage area. The 8-inch infotainment touchscreen now supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. USB ports are now Type-C (with one Type-A), and Qi wireless charging is exclusive to the RS.
Honda Connect is now standard across all variants. Variable Gear Ratio (VGR) steering is now on the E, while the V gets a hands-free powered tailgate (previously RS-only). Auto-retractable mirrors are available on the V and RS. The e:HEV RS adds RS-embossed black leather seats. The V now comes with a 17-inch spare (previously 18-inch); the RS gets a tyre repair kit.
2025 Honda HR-V Facelift Safety
All variants come with Honda Sensing as standard, including:
- FCW, CMBS (AEB), LDW, LKAS, RDM
- ACC with LSF, AHB, LCDN
Colour options for the 2025 Honda HR-V facelift include Phoenix Orange Pearl (new), Crystal Black Pearl (new), Platinum White Pearl, Stellar Diamond Pearl, and Meteoroid Gray Metallic.
The 2025 Honda HR-V facelift is backed by a five-year, unlimited mileage warranty for all variants, with five free labour services (within 100,000 km or five years). The hybrid battery gets an eight-year unlimited mileage warranty.
