From RM 1.35 mil before tax, Lamborghini Temerario launched in Malaysia – 920 PS hybrid V8

Lamborghini Kuala Lumpur has officially launched the Lamborghini Temerario in Malaysia. Replacing the Huracan, it’s the brand’s second plug-in hybrid supercar after the Revuelto. Local pricing starts from RM 1.35 million before duties, taxes, and options.

The Temerario is powered by a new 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 paired with three electric motors. The V8 alone makes 800 PS at up to 9,750 rpm and 730 Nm of torque. A rear-mounted e-motor between the engine and 8-speed dual-clutch transmission provides 300 Nm, while two front motors offer torque vectoring and contribute to a combined electric output of 299 PS and 2,150 Nm. Total system output stands at 920 PS.

0 to 100 km/h takes 2.7 seconds, with top speed rated at 343 km/h. The 3.8 kWh battery (placed within the chassis spine) supports up to 7 kW AC charging and enables electric-only drive up to 190 PS at the front axle.

Three hybrid modes (Recharge, Hybrid, Performance) and five drive modes (Citta, Strada, Sport, Corsa, Corsa Plus) manage how the engine and motors interact. Launch Control and a four-level Drift Mode are included.

Underneath, the new aluminium spaceframe improves rigidity and cabin space. Headroom is up by 34 mm, legroom by 46 mm, and the cockpit can now accommodate drivers up to 200 cm tall even with helmets on. Luggage space is 112 litres.

Exterior design remains recognisably Lamborghini but with sharper elements and a strong emphasis on aerodynamics. Hexagonal motifs are everywhere, from DRLs and intakes to taillights and fuel flaps. The new rear diffuser and fixed spoiler are said to generate 103% more downforce than the Huracan Evo, or 158% more with the optional Alleggerita pack, which also reduces weight by over 25 kg using carbon fibre parts.

Inside, the cabin features a 12.3-inch digital cluster, 8.4-inch central touchscreen, and a 9.1-inch passenger display. There’s also wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto and a Sonus faber sound system. The Lamborghini Vision Unit that features a triple-camera system allows drivers to record up to two minutes of driving footage.

Seats are available in comfort or carbon shell variants, and the cabin can be trimmed in leather or Corsatex microfibre. Multiple carbon fibre interior elements are offered.

Standard tyres are Bridgestone Potenza Sport, sized 255/35ZR20 front and 325/30ZR21 rear, with rims available in cast, forged, or carbon options. Two new colours debut: Blu Marinus and Verde Mercurius, with over 400 custom paint options via Lamborghini’s Ad Personam program.

Bookings are now open through Lamborghini Kuala Lumpur.
