2026 Lexus RX 500h F Sport Special Edition returns to Malaysia, RM513K

The Lexus RX 500h F Sport Edition has returned to Malaysia. It was previously released last year, limited to just 50 units. The price remains unchanged at RM 512,888, representing a RM 4,000 increase over the standard Lexus RX 500h F Sport. No confirmation yet on whether it will still be offered in limited numbers like last time.

A couple of minor changes have been made to the premium hybrid SUV; the centre caps on the 21-inch black five-twin-spoke alloy wheels now feature a matte finish with an additional clear coat applied. The colour lineup has also been expanded to include Sonic Iridium, Sonic Chrome, Sonic Copper, White Nova Glass Flake, and Heat Blue Contrast Layering. Previously, it was offered only in Graphite Black Glass Flake.

The rest of the Special Edition kit remains unchanged; the front, side, and rear skirts are finished in gloss black. F Sport projection lighting, illuminated F Sport front door sill scuff plates, and striking orange brake callipers are retained.

The powertrain remains the same as the “standard” Lexus RX 500h F Sport. It is equipped with a Direct4 all-wheel-drive hybrid system, consisting of a 2.4-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine (codename T24A-FTS) producing 275 PS and 460 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with an 87 PS, 292 Nm front electric motor, mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. The rear electric motor produces 103 PS and 169 Nm of torque. Total system output is rated at 371 PS and 550 Nm of torque, enabling a 0–100 km/h sprint in 6.2 seconds.

Other notable features include eight-way powered front seats with ventilation, triple-zone Lexus Climate Concierge air conditioning, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, a Qi wireless charger, and a 21-speaker Mark Levinson surround sound system. A full Lexus Safety System+ suite is also fitted, featuring adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, blind spot monitoring, autonomous emergency braking, and seven airbags, among others.
