2025 Leapmotor C10 updated in Malaysia, now RM34k cheaper at RM125,000

The Leapmotor C10 has been updated for the 2025 model year in Malaysia, and with it comes a lower starting price of RM125,000. This marks a significant drop from its previous price of RM159,000. At launch, the C10 was offered at RM149,000 for a limited time, a promotion that ended on November 30, 2024.

The most notable upgrade for the Leapmotor C10 is the fitment of an 11 kW AC onboard charger, replacing the previous 6.6 kW unit. With this, the EV’s 30-80% recharge time via AC has been reduced from six hours to four hours. DC fast charging remains unchanged, with a maximum rate of 84 kW allowing a 30-80% recharge of the 69.9 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery in 30 minutes.

No changes under the skin, as the Leapmotor C10 continues with a single rear-mounted electric motor that delivers 218 PS and 320 Nm of torque. This setup enables the SUV to complete the 0-100 km/h sprint in 7.5 seconds, with a top speed of 170 km/h.

New additions to the equipment list include a direct tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), which provides real-time data on tyre inflation levels, along with a motorised tyre inflator kit. Also added is a tonneau cover for the boot area, which holds 435 litres of luggage space with the rear seats up, expanding to 1,410 litres with the seats folded down. There is also a front trunk (frunk) with an additional 32 litres of storage space.

Inside, the cabin receives minor updates to the upholstery selection. Vehicles finished in Pearly White, Canopy Grey or Tundra Grey now come with black interior upholstery, replacing the previous Midnight Aurora finish. Meanwhile, Glazed Green units now receive Camel Brown upholstery instead of Criollo Brown. The material remains the same Oeko-Tex certified silicone textile.

Infotainment and display equipment continue unchanged. Drivers get a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster with a resolution of 1920 x 720, paired with a centrally mounted 14.6-inch touchscreen display offering 2560 x 1440 resolution. The audio system remains a 12-speaker setup powered by an 840-watt amplifier, with support for satellite navigation, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth connectivity.

Priced from RM125,000, the Leapmotor C10 is sold with a six-year, 150,000 km warranty, which consists of a four-year manufacturer warranty and an additional two-year extended coverage. The EV battery is backed by an eight-year, 160,000 km warranty.
