Stellantis Malaysia introduces RM21,500 rebate on the Peugeot 2008

Peugeot Malaysia has announced a price reduction for its 2008 compact crossover, with a rebate of RM21,500. This brings the model’s price down to RM111,888, compared to its previous price of RM133,388. The new pricing includes a 7-year warranty, which is aimed at providing buyers with added assurance.

For buyers seeking lower long-term maintenance costs, Peugeot Malaysia is offering an optional 5-Year Service Inclusive Programme priced at RM10,000. This plan covers the cost of parts for 10 scheduled services over five years, as well as labor charges. While this package adds upfront costs, it may appeal to those looking for predictable maintenance expenses.

The Peugeot 2008 is known for its stylish design and compact urban-friendly footprint. Some notable features include:

17-inch alloy wheels, lending the car a sporty appearance.

Full-LED headlights with the brand’s signature 3-claw design, offering improved visibility and a modern look.

• A Drive Mode selector, which allows drivers to adjust the car’s dynamics based on their preferences and road conditions.

Powering the 2008 is a 1.2-litre turbocharged PureTech engine, delivering 130ps and 230Nm of torque. While compact, the engine is tuned for efficiency and offers enough performance for typical city and highway driving.

Inside, the 2008 features Peugeot’s 3D i-Cockpit®, which incorporates a futuristic dashboard layout designed to enhance driver engagement. The compact steering wheel and elevated display aim to create a distinctive and ergonomic driving environment.

With the price cut, the Peugeot 2008 becomes a more attractive option in the competitive compact crossover segment. While it doesn’t boast the most powerful engine or largest interior in its class, its design, advanced features, and new pricing could appeal to urban drivers seeking a balance of style and practicality.
