Polestar 2 debuts in Singapore, from SGD 214k (RM660k)

Polestar has officially entered the ASEAN market with its brand launch in Singapore, with the Polestar 2 leading the way.

The Swedish brand has appointed Wearnes Automotive, as its exclusive partner in Singapore, and will bring in three versions of the Polestar 2 –

All variants of the Polestar 2 in Singapore are equipped with Polestar’s Plus Pack which includes:

  • A large panoramic glass roof
  • 13-speaker Harman Kardon Premium Sound system
  • Vegan WeaveTech seat upholstery

Launched internationally in 2020, the Polestar 2 has actually reached Malaysian soil, albeit as a grey-import version by Vision Motors in Kayu Ara.

The longest driving range is achieved by the Long-range single-motor version of the Polestar 2, boasting a 539-km WLTP range.

For maximum performance, customers would have to opt for the dual-motor version that produces 407 PS/660 Nm of maximum power and does the century sprint in 4.7 seconds.

All three versions of the Polestar 2 are capable of 150-kW DC fast charging (10-80% in 35 minutes)and 11 kW AC charging (8 hours to full charge).

The Polestar Destination in Singapore will incorporate test drives and a so-called ‘handover box’. It will be located at 45 Leng Kee Road and will open to the public in early 2022.
