MCOTY 2025 crowns Hyundai Staria 7-Seater as ICE MPV of the year
The Hyundai Staria Prestige 7-seater variant was named MPV ICE of the Year at the Malaysia Car of the Year (MCOTY) 2025, on January 26th, 2026, Kuala Lumpur. Hyundai Motor Malaysia says the recognition reinforces the Hyundai Staria’s strong positioning within the MPV segment, combining premium comfort, advanced safety, and everyday practicality.
The Hyundai Staria comes in 4 variants with prices starting from RM 179,888 to RM 267,888.

- Hyundai Staria 10-Seater Prime – RM 196,888

With Hyundai Motor Malaysia taking over from the previous distributor, some updates have been made to the Staria. The front cabin has been reconfigured with the removal of the middle front seats, providing additional room for the driver and front passenger. The newly introduced floor console replaced the middle seat and incorporates multiple storage and functionalities such as a removable cup holder, a retractable cup holder, a storage box, and a drawer tray.
