Renate Noessler appointed as Managing Director of Volkswagen and Audi Malaysia
Porsche Holding Salzburg (PHS) has announced a leadership change in Malaysia, appointing Renate Noessler as the new managing director of Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) and PHS Automotive Malaysia (PHSAM). She will serve alongside co-managing director Kurt Leitner, overseeing the operations of both Volkswagen Malaysia and Audi Malaysia.
Noessler is the first woman to lead VPCM, and brings over 30 years of experience in the automotive industry. Her background spans sales, marketing, and business consulting, with her most recent position as general manager of sales at Audi Singapore. She played a key role in driving Audi’s growth across Southeast Asia.
“I am honoured to take on this role and continue working with customers, dealer partners, the media, and stakeholders in Malaysia,” she said. “With our growing network at VPCM and PHSAM, we will be focused on delivering exceptional customer experiences.”
She succeeds Denyu Bostandzhiev, who led both brands in Malaysia since July 2023 and now moves to a new leadership role with PHS in Bulgaria. Bostandzhiev oversaw several launches, including the locally assembled Audi Q7 and the Volkswagen Touareg.
