Jetour VT9 launched in Malaysia – 7-seater SUV from RM118,800

After a two-week teaser campaign, the Jetour VT9 has officially made its Malaysian debut at the Malaysia Autoshow 2025. This D-segment seven-seater SUV is now available in two variants — Comfort and Prime — priced at RM118,800 and RM123,800 respectively. Prices quoted are nett for Peninsular Malaysia, excluding on-the-road (OTR) costs and insurance.

The base Comfort variant comes generously equipped with:

Notably, advanced safety features such as autonomous emergency braking (AEB) and adaptive cruise control (ACC) are absent from the list.

Under the hood, the Jetour VT9 shares its powertrain with the Chery Omoda 5 — a 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine pushing out 156 PS and 230 Nm, paired with a six-speed wet dual-clutch automatic gearbox.
