GWM Haval H6 HEV proves its efficiency: 1,204KM on a single tank

GWM Malaysia has announced the winners of the ‘Drive Further, Win Bigger’ GWM HAVAL H6 HEV Fuel Efficiency Challenge, showcasing the impressive fuel economy of its best-selling hybrid SUV. Koh Hui Min from Kelantan claimed the top spot by covering 1,204 km on a single tank, demonstrating the HAVAL H6 HEV’s exceptional efficiency.

The competition, held from 20th January to 9th February 2025, encouraged HAVAL H6 HEV owners to push their SUVs to the limit under optimal driving conditions. The top six winners recorded remarkable distances ranging from 1077kms – 1204kms

“We are proud to see our owners pushing the HAVAL H6 HEV to its full potential,” said Cui Anqi, Managing Director of GWM Malaysia. “These results highlight the SUV’s outstanding fuel economy without compromising performance.”

Since its October 2024 launch, the GWM HAVAL H6 HEV has become a popular choice among Malaysian SUV buyers. It features a Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT) that combines an internal combustion engine (ICE) with an electric motor, delivering 243 PS and 530 Nm of torque. With a fuel consumption rating of 5.8L/100 km, the SUV can easily exceed 1,000 km per tank, making it a practical option, especially with upcoming RON95 fuel subsidy rationalisations.

GWM Malaysia has launched a second round of the challenge from 17th February to 9th March 2025, where the top six winners will receive a petrol card worth RM1 for every 1 km driven.
