Bufori CS8 launched in Malaysia: 821 PS, 6.4L supercharged V8, from RM 2.188 million
The Bufori CS8 is now officially launched in Malaysia, its first all-new model since the Geneva-shown prototype of 2019. Handcrafted in Kepong by a 150-strong team, the Bufori CS8 is described as an ultra-high performance grand tourer, combining bespoke luxury with supercar-level performance.
At the heart of the Bufori CS8 is a 6.4-litre supercharged V8, producing 821 PS (Bufori quotes 810 hp) and 973 Nm at 4,800 rpm. Drive is sent to the rear wheels via an eight-speed automatic and a limited-slip differential. The CS8 sprints from 0–100 km/h in 3.0 seconds with launch control, while top speed is limited to 330 km/h.
The Bufori CS8 sits on a carbon-kevlar monocoque with adaptive multi-link suspension front and rear, achieving near-perfect weight distribution. A built-in data logger is fitted for track use.
Exterior kit includes LED headlamps, DRLs and fog lamps, LED rear lights, auto wipers, and quad exhausts. Inside, the CS8 features eight-way adjustable Recaro leather seats with four-way lumbar support, dual-zone AC, a 13.6-inch infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, wireless charging, a 6.1 sound system, and mood lighting.
Driver assistance kit extends to adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning/assist, blind spot monitoring, 360-degree camera, tyre pressure monitoring and park assist. The 252-litre boot also contains a Snap-On tool kit valued at RM 13,000.
Customisation is effectively unlimited, from trim materials to bespoke fittings, with each CS8 taking more than 9,000 man-hours to build. Buyers also receive a scale model of their car. Beyond the flagship supercharged V8, Bufori offers alternative engines, including a naturally aspirated V8 (475 PS/640 Nm), a supercharged or NA 3.6-litre V6 (455 PS/495 Nm or 320 PS/352 Nm), and even a 3.0-litre twin-turbo option (550 PS/677 Nm).
The Bufori CS8 is priced from RM 2.188 million on-the-road without insurance, regardless of engine choice.
