All-new Mercedes-Benz S-class teased for Malaysia, launching soon

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has released a teaser on the upcoming all-new W223 Mercedes-Benz S-Class.

WIth Christmas approaching, it seems Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has one final gift for all of us.

No technical details have been shared in the video, but we do expect Malaysia to get the petrol-powered Mercedes-Benz S-Class (3.0-litre M256 turbocharged inline-six engine)

The main highlight of the teaser is the Digital Lights technology on the all-new headlights. With this technology, the headlights can project warning symbols on the road or perform customisable light shows.

Although not shown in the teaser, the all-new Mercedes-Benz S-Class is also  equipped with rear-wheel steering, making maneuvers easy in tight spaces an allowing the car to glide between lanes on the motorway.

Complementing this is the E-Active Body Control active suspension system, which scans the road ahead (with cameras) and adjusts the suspensions on the fly in reaction to the road conditions

On the inside, the all-new W223 Mercedes-Benz S-Class gets a 12.8-inch touchscreen display which runs on the latest MBUX technology.

Launching in Malaysia soon, it seems the S-Class in Malaysia will not receive the Level-3 autonomous driving feature set to be equipped in the S-Class in Germany.

Over in Germany, the Mercedes-Benz Class will be the first Mercedes-Benz to be equipped with an internationally-approved Level-3 autonomous driving feature.
