All-New Honda Civic Type R to debut in 2022, currently testing at Suzuka Circuit

Honda has teased the upcoming 2022 Honda Civic Type R again, this time with photos of it undergoing testing at the Suzuka Circuit.
Still covered in camouflage, all we could see are the use of Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres, an intercooler, and big Brembo brakes.

On Honda’s official website it reads, “Development of the best performing Honda Civic Type R ever continues at the world famous Suzuka circuit. The all-new Type R will be introduced in 2022. #HondaCivic #TypeR”

Honda has also released a tweet, double confirming the year of debut of the next-generation Honda Civic Type R.

Technical details have still not been revealed for the upcoming Honda Civic Type R, so here are a bunch of pictures released by Honda for you to enjoy.
Speculations from various auto media are rather wild, with some even expecting a hybrid powertrain to propel the future Type R.
