2026 Toyota GR Corolla launched, from RM 369k – new 8-speed automatic gearbox

The new 2026 Toyota GR Corolla now offers an 8-speed automatic gearbox as an option, priced at RM 378,950 on the road, excluding insurance. For reference, the 6-speed manual transmission variant is priced at RM 368,950 on the road, excluding insurance.

UMWT launched the previous facelift Toyota GR Corolla back in January 2025, with a redesigned front bumper, larger corner air inlets, as well as fog lights deleted to increase cooling capacity feeding air to the new sub-radiator. Fan and coupling power were also upgraded from 330 watts to 500 watts. This was done to ensure optimal coolant temperature for on-track usage.

The 2026 Toyota GR Corolla A/T is equipped with an 8-speed automatic transmission with launch control. The drivetrain also comes with a front and rear Torsen differential.
