2024 Volvo EX30 launched in Malaysia, from RM189k – up to 476km range
The Volvo EX30 has now been launched in Malaysia, with prices starting from RM188,888, and with three variants on offer. The EX30 is basically the sister model of both the Smart #1 and the Zeekr X. And as you can guiess by the ‘30’ in its name, it is smaller than the Volvo C40 (or should we start to call it EC40 in Malaysia now?).

How small? Well it measures 4,233 mm long,1,836 mm wide, 1,549 mm tall, and it has a wheelbase measuring 2,650 mm long. And like the Smart #1 and Zeekr X it is built on the SEA2 platform from the Geely Group.

The three variants of the Volvo EX30 consist of a combination of two drivetrain setups and one battery pack setup. You get a 69 kWh battery across the range, and you either get a single-motor or a dual-motor setup, depending on the variant. Inside, the Volvo Ex30 showcases the brand’s new minimalistic design approach. A large portrait head unit sits in the middle of the simple dashboard and there are many clever storage compartments in the EX30 – one of it being the cupholder/cubby space setup for the centre console.
